Quick dial by name, so I don't crash my car
it's really hard to look up a phone number. I want to start typing the name, based on the 10 Key, keypad letters, and then be presented with a list of matches.
Most phone have this feature, so should the iPhone

I know there is a contacts button. But to get to a contact, you first have to press the contacts button. Then you have to catch the right scroll at just the right point, and get to the search, then touch the search, then finally start typing, to get a filtered list.
