Sending contacts via SMS
You should be able to send contacts to other phones via SMS (like every other phone in the world).

Turn by turn directions GPS
Add turn by turn directions into the GPS/Google maps client.
It would also be nice to have speed, updated ETA and audible directions.

on the ipod you can play back podcasts at a faster speed. can this be done on the iPhone?

phone dial links
when i get a phone number in an email or sms, it should be presented as a dial link, to fast dial the phone number.

Unified Inbox
I currently have four email accounts setup in my iPhone and flipping back and forth just to see which account has new messages is a real time waster. Mail.app on my mac has a unified inbox, I would love to have the same ability on my iPhone.

Save email attachments locally
Unable to save attachments to local storage. I may want to save a PDF or document locally but not keep the email in my inbox (or fumble through my inbox to find it)

No Itunes icon if itunes is not supported in my country (eg. Singapore)
I have bought iPhone 3GS in Singapore and i have this useless icon on home screen called iTunes. Whenever i click it, it says itunes store is not available in your country.... then why is th eicon there????

Waking iPhone with HOME button
When waking the iPhone using the HOME button, after sliding unlock, I want the HOME Screen to display, NOT the previously used ap (let that remain the function of waking with the edge ON/OFF button).

Many other bluetooth handsets support A2DP (stereo high quality music over bluetooth), why doesn't the iPhone?

Bluetooth Support for Keyboards
Data entry is much faster on a full size keyboard. Emails, SMS, and general productivity would be increased with this option.

Support landscape mode in the Apple Mail app
In order to be competitive with other phones in the marketplace, Apple should directly support the landscape keyboard in their current Mail app. They shoulld also create an Apple IM app that supports landscape mode and connection to several different services.

make the phone more durable - face shattered after one fall
The face of my iPhone shattered after just one drop from a few feet. Am I really the only person to have ever dropped my phone? Allow searching of stored email
I want the mail app to cache all my mail locally and let me search it just like I do on the desktop. This would be incredibly useful for anyone with a lot of email!

Limit contacts on phone list, to contacts with numbers
Click Phone to call someone you don't know there number. Click contacts. If you're contact list was synced with a service like gMail, it's possible you have a bunch of contacts without phone numbers, just email addresses.

Be able to create meeting requests
There is no way to create a new meeting request emails on iPhone. I'd able to create a meeting request that would invite others via email like I can in Outlook.

Adobe Flash support
Please add support for Safari (for Mac) plug-ins, or at least work with Adobe to gain support for Adobe Flash.
